Apple MacBook Air Updated
Why We Can’t Keep Our Hands Off The MacBook Air
A great laptop just got even better! Already a powerful contender in the “laptops we love” category, Apple upped the ante on their MacBook Air by boosting processing speeds, backlighting the keyboard and enhancing connectivity. As in the previous generation MacBook Air, the new models use flash storage enabling computer to start up almost instantaneously. Flash also gives MacBook Air the ability to remain in standby mode for up to 30 days. With an incredible high resolution display and equally incredible light weight (2.86 lbs for the 13” model) this is truly a superior laptop offering.
Best New Features
  • The new backlit keyboard makes it easy to work even in poorly lit environments.
  • Faster processing (up to twice the speed of the previous generation) with Intel Core i5 and Core i7 dual-core processors.
  • The new Thunderbolt I/O is capable of transferring data up to 12 times faster than FireWire 800 and up to 20 times faster than USB 2.0.
  • Flash storage (available on the previous generation of MacBook Air), but it’s so useful it’s worth mentioning.
