Compliance and Sustainability
Ian Spaulding is the Managing Director of INFACT Global Partners, an independent management consulting company on factory operations and labor and environmental compliance issues. In addition to his role with INFACT, Mr. Spaulding regularly consults with US and European companies and their key suppliers on how they can better achieve social and environmental compliance.
Prior to forming INFACT, Mr. Spaulding was the Director of Global Compliance for Sears Holdings Corporation (parent company of Sears, Kmart, Lands End and Sears Canada). Mr. Spaulding developed and led Sears’ labor compliance efforts globally for more than 6000 factories in 43 different sourcing countries. Through his work at Sears, Mr. Spaulding is known in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility as a leading proponent of transparency and continuous improvement.
Previous work for Mr. Spaulding has also included working at BSR as the Senior Program Manager for Business and Human Rights and as a Consultant in KPMG’s Integrity Management Services Division.
Mr. Spaulding has a Masters Degree from Yale and a Bachelors Degree from American University.
